Trying it again
A man saw a big elephant tied on its feet with a weak rope by a weak pole. Curiously he asked to its master, “Why the elephant doesn’t escape breaking the rope because it is very weak?”,
The master replied,”When the elephant was a small child he tried to escape putting every effort it could but unsuccesful. So now he never tries to escape because it thinks that it is worthless to try.”
Moral of the story: Many of us have tried to do many things but get unsuccessful results. We never again try to do it. We don’t even know how much we have grown up. We just think in the same way we used to think in the past. This is wrong because with the time pass by we have gained many experiences and capacity that may be worthing to try it again.
This story is told by an actor in a Israeli movie which I watched in the Israeli Film Festival at Russian Art Culture some weeks ago.

What about the chick’s story , who saw few feathers on his wings and tried to fly??
We definitely should not be like the elephant in the story but should understand the ground reality as well. How many neaplese have access to clean drinking water and nutritional food?
How many of us has access to real freedom?
How many of us can fight against YCL or police atrocities?
How many of us knows what is human rights?
How many of us knows , what is the difference between Gyanendra, Prachnda and GP ??

dear anonymous well said and lot of questions….trying it again doesn’t mean that you have to do without realizing your strength…people should recognize their own strength try to remedy the problems. though their are lot of problems right now in Nepal we should be optimistic.
